We have a position available as an Admin / HR person to join our team in Walvisbay

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast growing team and make a great career change!

A Successful candidate will be confident in using data analysis and marketing tools in the development of marketing Strategies, execution of campaigns and tracking.


What We Expect from You

  • Load daily expenses on the bank and update the Excel sheet.
  • Add, delete, or amend payees on online banking and load all EFT payments (clients, expenses, online).
  • Forward proof of payments (POPs) to suppliers.
  • Handle company license applications and renewals.
  • Perform pension reconciliations for accuracy and payment.
  • Assist with month-end processes and invoicing.
  • Print and file bank statements, year-end files, and bank statements.
  • Audit payments.
  • Prepare internal invoicing when required.
  • Handle supplier account queries, follow-ups, and requests.
  • Conduct petty cashbook checks and reconcile slips.
  • Handle insurance claims.
  • Complete compliance documentation required by banks, insurance, lawyers, and accountants.
  • Perform cash-ups and reconcile shortages.
  • Update internal company documentation with BIPA when required.
  • Process new supplier account applications.
  • Assist with internal and some external lease agreements.
  • Correspond with banks, brokers, and accountants for required information or documentation.
  • Handle vehicle license renewals.
  • Order stock and uniforms.
  • Travel between coastal branches when required.
  • Maintain and issue IRP5 certificates annually and provide copies upon request.
  • Assist with online withdrawals and cash-ups.
  • Ensure all documentation and information are correct for winners to be paid via EFT.
  • Perform electrical and water reconciliations.
  • Assist in improving processes and implications for branches with trainers.
  • Conduct interviews and recruitment of staff.
  • Maintain staff records and send payroll information to Head Office.
  • Initiate disciplinary hearings when required.
  • Issue uniforms and maintain uniform reconciliations.
  • Please note that the duties and responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive. Additional tasks may be required to meet the needs of the organisation.

What We Are Looking for in Our Next Teammate

  • Highly computer literate (Excel and Word).
  • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High level of energy; professional, friendly, and determined.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and go the extra mile.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
  • Professional and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of office administration.
  • Understanding of reconciliations.
  • Preference will be given to more experienced applicants.
  • Driver’s licence is compulsory.
