Position Overview

• The Bunker Surveyor will be responsible for conducting accurate and independent bunker quantity surveys in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct bunker quantity surveys for shore and vessel operations.
• Ensure compliance with MARPOL, ISO, and industry standards.
• Prepare detailed and accurate survey reports.
• Calibrate and maintain survey equipment.
• Liaise professionally with clients, ship staff, and other stakeholders.
• Uphold the company's standards of safety, quality, and integrity.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Marine Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Bunker Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of bunker surveying standards and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's licence.

Additional Requirements

• Own reliable transportation is required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must be based in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
