PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To assist in Warehouse operations with regards to receiving and dispatching of stock according to defined procedures in order to optimize the accurate and timely delivery of materials..

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Accurate receiving and dispatching of stock in line with operational procedures.
• Consistent application of FIFO principles to ensure proper stock rotation.
• Timely and accurate completion of daily and ad hoc stock counts.
• Proper completion and submission of stock control count sheets.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records and files.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or obsolete stock promptly.
• Ensure correct dating and labelling of all stock on count sheets and warehouse floor.
• Handle stock reservations efficiently and resolve related queries promptly.
• Ensure all dispatched products meet client and factory shop requirements.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain clean, organised, and well-managed storage areas at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• Grade 12 certificate.
• 1–3 years’ working experience in warehousing.
