OVERVIEW:

FLEXONA is seeking a Growth and Production Manager on a one-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment, subject to satisfactory performance, organisational requirements and suitability for the role.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented leader to drive business growth, strengthen client relationships and ensure efficient, high-quality production.

Purpose of the Position:

The Growth and Production Manager is responsible for driving business growth by securing new clients, building strategic partnerships, expanding market opportunities and strengthening customer relationships, while ensuring that customer orders are efficiently planned, coordinated and delivered to the highest quality standards.

The role serves as the link between business development and production, promoting operational efficiency, continuous improvement, innovation and employee development to support the company's long-term growth and competitiveness within the Namibian garment manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business growth by securing new clients and expanding market opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and strong customer relationships.
• Oversee production planning to ensure efficient operations and high-quality output.
• Coordinate production schedules, inventory control and supplier activities.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Lead, coach and develop production employees to improve productivity and performance.
• Promote operational efficiency, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet customer expectations and delivery deadlines.
• Support business development through client acquisition, marketing and proposal preparation.
• Contribute to the organisation's long-term growth and competitiveness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Production Management, Business Management, Clothing/Fashion Production or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in garment manufacturing or a similar production environment.
• Demonstrated experience in production planning, quality management, inventory control and supplier coordination.
• Strong business development skills, including client acquisition, marketing, proposal preparation and relationship management.
• Proven leadership ability to supervise staff, improve productivity, coach employees and build a positive workplace culture.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a small business environment.
• Valid driver's licence.
