Job Specification

• Being accountable for the Old Mutual procurement function and policies;
• Being accountable for the preparation of financial reports for specific financial services entities;
• Responsible for monthly expense reporting across various business units;
• Managing of Group SLA costs;
• Maintaining and improvement of shared and client services expense allocations and modeling;
• Being accountable for the Employee share scheme reporting and accounting;
• Being accountable for all finance related Risk and Governance policies and responsibilities;
• Being responsible for treasury and capital monitoring and reporting;
• Responsible for NARAF reporting;
• Providing technical assistance to business units and liaises to key stakeholders;
• Analysing financial records such as income and expenditure and profitability trends;
• Being responsible for driving business planning and forecasting processes across a number of areas;
• Reviewing and monitoring of key account reconciliations across a number of areas;
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards at a group level;
• Guiding systems and process development and ongoing improvements; and
• Ensuring processes, policies and practices are in place to drive business strategic objectives and contributing to finance strategy;
• Managing of finance staff.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Namibian Citizenship.
• 5 Years Finance experience;
• Must have operated in a long -term insurance environment; and
• Must have experience in the management of people.
