PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Manages and coordinates the organisation’s sales function to meet the organisation’s business requirements. Manages a large-sized team of advisors to develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with prospective and existing clients to stimulate and manage demand for financial products and services..

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Build and manage robust sales pipelines to support sustainable growth.
• Identify and penetrate new market opportunities in collaboration with Sales Consultants.
• Lead, coach, and mentor Sales Consultants to achieve and exceed performance targets.
• Manage key external stakeholder relationships to strengthen market presence.
• Drive market share growth by identifying and executing new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement effective market and resource plans for Institutional and Retail segments.
• Track, monitor, and report on sales performance and budget outcomes.
• Oversee sales support processes to ensure profitability and achievement of business targets.
• Drive operational excellence through effective leadership and team oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• Namibian citizenship.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ sales experience within the Asset Management and/or Life Insurance industry.
• NQF Level 7 qualification in Financial Planning, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong product and technical knowledge of retirement funds, investments, and insurance.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Proven ability to apply structured sales methodologies successfully.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
