Job Specification

• Assists existing and prospective clients in achieving their financial goals by providing relevant and appropriate financial advice, superior solutions and services to individual clients as per customer’s personal and financial circumstances and their goals or dreams for the future
• Offers financial advice in adherence with the customers value proposition and compliance framework
• Manages client product holding across a portfolio of Old Mutual solutions
• Manages a sales team and is accountable for the sales targets and profitability of the team
• Manages sales and expense budget for a sales team in a branch against set targets
• Responsible for distribution strategy of products within a branch
• Accountable for local marketing
• Identifies and creates coordinated sales opportunities
• Responsible for external networking and relationship building with key door openers
• Ensures delivery of customer value
• Recruits, develops and retains Sales Advisors to meet business standards

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Namibian citizenship.
• Grade 12 with commercial or business-related subjects and a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience or a bachelor’s degree (NQF L7) plus 3 years working experience in business management, insurance or financial services or markets sector
• A clean criminal and credit check
• Ability to work under pressure whilst still maintaining a professional image
• Good planning, organising and time-management skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
• Proactive and passionate about sales
• Outstanding networking skills
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Self-starter and team player
• Valid Driver’ license
• Having a vehicle will be an added advantage
