Job Description:

  • Attend to escalated customer support tickets from the L1/L2 Support Engineers, resolve and close tickets within SLA requirements.
  • Provide remote desktop support to customers as well as travel to customer sites as and when required.
  • Install, maintain, and support desktop peripherals, hardware, and software.
  • Monitor, record, and respond to incidents and failures in line with SLA requirements.
  • Create and maintain installation and system documentation, diagrams, procedures, and help sheets.
  • Assist with monthly customer SLA reports.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform any additional ad-hoc requirements in line with company procedures and standards.

Minimum Requirement:

General:
  • Be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate.
  • Namibian citizen.
  • Fluent bilingualism (English/Afrikaans).
  • Be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
Certifications:
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA N+
  • MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
  • MD-102: Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • ITIL v4 certification
Exposure:
  • Previous service desk/ticketing system environment experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience related to End-User Desktop / Peripheral Support.
  • Active Directory & M365 tenant administration.
  • Experienced at working in a team of Support Engineers.
  • Previous experience with managing a team will be an advantage.
Added Advantages / Special Requirements:
  • Own vehicle.
  • Additional qualification or certification complementing position and scope of work.
  • Ability to speak a 3rd language.
